EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Appearance: clear, colorless liquid.
Danger! Corrosive. Causes severe eye and skin
burns. Causes severe digestive and respiratory tract burns. Moisture
sensitive.

Eye:
Causes severe eye burns. Contact may cause ulceration of the
conjunctiva and cornea.
Skin:
Causes skin burns. May cause deep, penetrating ulcers of the skin.
Ingestion:
May cause hemorrhaging of the digestive tract. May cause corrosion
and permanent tissue destruction of the esophagus and digestive
tract.
Inhalation:
May cause ulceration and perforation of the nasal septum if inhaled
in excessive quantities. May cause burns to the respiratory tract.
Inhalation may be fatal as a result of spasm, inflammation, edema of
the larynx and bronchi, chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema.

Eyes:
Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally
lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid immediately. Do
NOT allow victim to rub eyes or keep eyes closed.

least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.

If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water.
